Rosen Method bodywork helps people find deep knowing based on a
physical sense of the self that can guide the choices and actions
of their
lives. I am interested in helping people find authenticity and in
working with clients with family histories of touch abuse or touch
deprivation. My work is based on a commitment to transformation and
openness to possibilities in people's lives.
I have been a Rosen Method bodywork practitioner for thirty years.
I was Marion Rosen's first student in 1972 and am one of Marion’s
close associates today.
I am currently a senior training teacher at ROSEN METHOD: the Berkeley Center
and have been the executive director of the school since it was founded in
1983. My expertise as a teacher lies in transmitting the essentials of Rosen
Method in a way that students incorporate them into their own way of working
and living.
I see private clients in Berkeley and Lafayette, California. My primary office
is at the Rosen Center in Berkeley.
To make an appointment for Rosen Method bodywork, please call me
at (510) 845-8591. Appointments last one hour and are generally scheduled
every week or two weeks. The sessions take place in a private office
on a massage
table. Clothing is optional, depending on the comfort level of the
individual. Office hours are generally from 9 to 4 on weekdays, but
other times can be arranged to accommodate work schedules. A series
of six sessions is recommended, and single sessions can be arranged
on a trial basis.
